Originally incorporated in 1994, Home and Hearth Designs focused primarily on custom remodeling jobs, room additions and outdoor living spaces. In 2002, obtained their General Contractor’s License and evolved their mission to challenge the status-quo to build custom and speculative homes with affordable prices.  Expansion in 2007 included Commercial Residential Building certification and name change to Home & Hearth Designs of NC, Inc (HHDNCI).  For almost 3 decades, HHDNCI has built meticulous homes designed with functional living in mind, etched with craftsman style and distinction; custom built-in cabinetry and fireplace hearths as signature items, accompanied by large living areas with great traffic flow for entertaining. Interior finishes such as stone, hardwood, tile, granite, heavy millwork, tankless water heaters and Energy Star building infrastructure behind the walls separated HHDNCI from mainstream builders.

Fast forward to 2023:  HHDNCI is no longer actively building/remodeling custom homes, but maintaining their motto of "providing warmth, craftsmanship and a touch of the unexpected" by providing consulting services (interior & exterior design), project management, and leveraging many decades of experience and networks with contractors, interior design suppliers and home furnishing vendors with affordable prices.
